A status message is a snapshot of an application or payment record. Wording can change between programmes, so treat this glossary as a starting point and read the full official message.

Common status themes

ApprovedRead the payment details and confirm the relevant month.
Declined or rejectedRead the reason and check whether an appeal is available.

When asking for help, include the grant type, affected month, status wording and reference number. Do not include your full identity number or banking credentials in a public post.
