General Document Requirements
All documents must be certified copies not older than 3 months. Certification can be done at any police station free of charge.
Acceptable documents include utility bills, lease agreements, or an affidavit from a commissioner of oaths confirming your address.
The green ID book or smart ID card is required. Temporary IDs may be accepted in some cases.
SASSA card, bank account, or Post Office account details are needed for payment. A SASSA card can be issued at your local office.
